Conference center

The conference will be held at the Centre d'Etudes Biologiques de Chizé (CEBC). The CEBC belongs to the Institut Ecologie et Environnement (INEE), department of the CNRS (the French National Centre for Scientific Research). The research laboratory is located in the Deux-Sèvres area, 30 km south of Niort in the Chizé state forest. Research at the CEBC focuses on understanding the ecology of wild animals in their natural environment. 

The research programmes study the effects of time and space variations in available resources, in particular due to global climate change and anthropogenic activities (agriculture, fisheries etc.), on vertebrate populations and communities. This research is wholly aimed at sustainable management of natural resources and at biodiversity conservation.

Shared room fees: ~16 euros per night + 6 euros for sheet location

  • Indicate the first name and name of the authors, underline the name of the speaker. Indicate by an asterisk the corresponding author and his/her e-mail address and phone number.
  • Title in Calibri font 11, bold
  • Text in Calibri font, size 10, single spaced.
  • Abstract submissions should be no longer than 250 words.

When you submit your proposal, you will be automatically notified of receipt by an email sent to the address that you provided. If you do not receive such a notification, please contact us to confirm that your proposal was received. You will be able to return to your proposal to edit it until the submission deadline has passed. You can classify your proposal by selecting up to 5 of 17 topics (see Registration). We will try to allocate your presentation to your choice, but this is not always possible.

Lunch and Dinners

  • Lunches will be taken at the CEBC;
  • Dinner will take place at the Prioulet - Precise information will be communicated after registration.
