Matt Andersen is Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wyoming

Matt Andersen is Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wyoming as well as a research fellow with the International Science and Technology Practice and Policy (InSTePP) Center at the University of Minnesota. In the fall semester of 2013, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Leuven in Belgium. Dr. Andersen’s research is focused on agricultural productivity analysis and estimating the economic rate of return to investments in agricultural R&D. His specializations include economic data construction and econometric estimation of the impacts of agricultural science. He has published numerous papers on these topics as well as co‐authored a book that received the 2011 Quality of Research Discovery Award from the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association.
